Very disappointed. I ordered the chicken and biscuits and fries with aoili. The chicken was extremely dry, pretty much inedible. The biscuits were nothing special, not even as good as a fast food breakfast biscuit. The baby red potatoes were cooked well, but completely unseasoned. The fries were good, so I filled up on those. Honestly the aoili was the only thing worth eating again... Service left something to be desired and the place was cramped and noisy. Won't go back, and don't reccomend.

This is my first time coming to the WoodBlock and i would come here again! This is a great place. It had nice food, the staff is so nice and welcoming, the atmosphere is great, and the over all feel is amazing! When I was here i got the strawberry lemonade and the chicken dinner. The chicken was really good, lots of flavor.

Absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere and service. We called ahead when we were on our way (you can't make dinner reservations far in advance but can call and get on the list) and there was a table waiting for is when we arrived. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We got the scotch egg (nothing to compare it to but it was good) brussel sprouts (so tasty), brisket gnocchi, and steak and frites. All were great and cooked to perfection. The Lost in Tijuana margarita had the perfect spice and was great for shipping through dinner.We will definitely come back for another date night!

Hands down incredible food and incredible drinks. The only problem is that every meal I have after this moment in life will be disappointing in comparison.

We were told there would be a 15 min wait to get seated. We ended up waiting 45 mins. A server took another 10 mins just to get to our table. The server was rude and not empathetic. Food was good though

Creative and delicious drinks and quite the extensive whiskey menu! A great place for happy hour right in the middle of Redmond.

Their sandwiches are so delicious. I kept going this place severally in my last two trips to Redmond, and will always do. The ambiance is so nice. I brought my family and they all liked it. i will keep coming back whenever I land in Redmond.

Good was good. The place was pretty busy when we arrived. Understandable. But I saw a couple people look at us like they were annoyed. Wife saw it too. I don't understand that attitude.

Really good spot for brunch.We stopped by the Woodblock for brunch on a Saturday morning and were impressed. We had the banana bread French toast and the braised brisket hash. The French toast was amazing. I’m a big fan of huckleberries and they made a great addition to the banana bread. I really loved the hash. There was a large amount of savory, tender brisket. Much to my surprise the beets and kale worked well. The eggs were cooked just as I order them and there was a generous portion of potatoes. I look forward to visiting again.

Liquor selection might be the best on the east side. Stop in for half price whiskey Tuesdays! Bartenders are very knowledgeable and friendly.

They have more whiskeys than wines on their menu, which makes it stand out for me! The charcuterie board has a nice mix of meats and cheeses, with fantastic pickled veggies to break up the richness. We shared several dishes and enjoyed them all, including the octopus, summer salad, duck breast, and trout, and loved them all. They have a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is good. We've been three times and will go again!

Good food, good drink selections and great service.

Has potential to be 4+ stars! Great food (got the brisket hash and chorizo breakfast tacos) and nice atmosphere. Logistics have room for improvement. We had a reservation for 2 and waited at least 20 minutes to be seated while multiple walk-in parties were seated ahead of us. Some creative thinking and/or flexibility in seating parties of different sizes could go a long way. We’ll give it another try.

Met a friend and his wife here for lunch. It's a nice, modern, higher-end spot. Their kale salad looked like it just finished a magazine shoot. Tasted great as well.

Good selection of happy hour food. Small, but decent selection of beers on tap. Truffle fries and salmon/crab dip were tasty. Bar staff was excellent and the right amount of attentive even given how busy they were.

Inviting atmosphere, attentive staff, and quality food during brunch hour. They have 2-hour free retail parking nearby. It was busy but no waiting in line and they do take reservations. The bar has a wide variety of liquors on display. Bartender Alex takes pride in the drinks that he serves. Must try for happy hour or brunch/ lunch.

Woodblock is our favourite place to grab brunch on the weekends! It’s always bustling and has a delicious menu.

This is a really great little place. The food was tasty in surprising little ways - the chimichuri on the New York steak! The cocktails were great too. Everything had both a familiarity and a twist. Last, the service was so friendly and engaging that we can't wait to go back.

Definitely don't visit this place enought. It's very good food and nice atmosphere. Close to both work and home and near the nice new Redmond park, so good option if you have to go with kids and they need a place to run around before or after.

Steak and Frites was delicious. Their wine and spirits selection is pretty impressive.They were out of a couple cocktail ingredients (about an hour until closing time), but the bartender said she would make me something similar with what was on hand. Legit one of the best cocktails I've ever had.

Happy hour here is great. Food is fantastic. Nice atmosphere. I'm almost scared to share this place but it's too good to keep to myself. Tuesdays most of their whiskey list is half price. Can't be beat.

Came here on a busy Sunday morning for brunch without a reservation luckily my wife and I were able to get seated at the kitchen bar. I recommend making a reservation. I also recommend the amazingly flavorful fried chicken and biscuits. My only issue was the food got cold about 1 minutes after being served. Had such good flavor though I’ll give it another try.

We came in with a party of 4 around 11am - 12pm. It was pretty packed so we chose to sit at the bar area. This was super cool because it smelled AMAZING and I loved watching the cooks. The CROQUE MADAME was absolutely to die for. The smokiness of the ham, creamy béchamel, and fresh guiseppe bread was perfect. The service was great, even though the restaurant was busy.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken. It was tasty but the lettuce came in a bunch, meaning it wasn't cut. Kinda cool presentation but took a bit more work to eat than I was expecting.

After looking through the Google photos and reviews, we were very excited to try this restaurant. Upon entering during lunch hour, the place was half empty and the host was lethargic. He sat us at a table, and I requested the other table next to it. He told me no, which I found very odd considering the restaurant was empty. We ordered a scotch egg, a salmon burger and a regular burger. Pretty to look at, but that's about it. Very unimpressive and grossly over priced. Bathrooms were disgusting. Definitely will never come back!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating although service was somewhat slow. The food was great. Calamari was very good. I had the chicken that was fried to perfection. Had a wonderful flavor. The scotch egg is average. Anything on the menu that mentions garlic is amazing, they don't skimp on the garlic.

OK overall. Service was good, food came out quick, and hot. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich at the servers recommendation. The bun was very dry, lack of sauce made it worse, and the chicken wasn't that good (Thin, overcooked, and flavorless). I probably will come back to try some other stuff hoping it is better. Appearance of food had me believe the food would be amazing. At the end of the day you pay the prices they charge for premium food and it just wasn't there. One star for service, one star for visuals.

Their calamari was the best. It was tasty and can eventually satisfy your craving. Staffs were welcoming and very attentive. The service was good. I'll surely be back to try their other dish.

Staff was pleasant. I ordered the scotch egg and stuffed quail. Scotch egg was delicious! Stuffed quail was also tasty, but a bit too much cornbread for my taste.

This place is clearly on the higher end. Their drinks are super creative and a bit over the top in a good way. We ordered a drink that came under a glass filled with wood smoke of some sort. The whole experience was great! Their food is also very good, however I didn't like their most recent menu very much. I loved the risotto they served when they just opened (they have a rotating menu).

This was an amazing dining experience! Staff was great. Food delicious. Great atmosphere.

Try the salmon and crab dip! And if you like watching the cooks, sit at the counter

I really loved their lunch Pork Sandwich with Tomato Soup. Fresh and delicious.

Quality good and original menu items. The selection is a bit limited, however. We had the salad, the Scottish egg, and the brisket gnocchi. Good flavor and portion size, but not quite as unique or complex as I had hoped for. Good bar and plenty of fun drinks, including a Goth drink with a fun presentation.

One of the best spicy fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had, albeit a bit on the pricey side. Ask for a bit extra of the "green goddess sauce" and it's amazing. The truffle parm fries I had with it were fine, but not amazing.Others in my party said the burger was excellent, so I'll try that if I go back. If it's as good as the chicken sandwich, this rating would change to 5 stars.

seems like this place should be better but everything was super bland. Had the pork belly, the scotch egg, the brussel sprouts, the baked brie, and the chicken wings. Every single one of them was super bland. Even the cocktail I had was bland.

Would definitely recommend this place. The whisky drinks brought out with a smoke filled glass cover is an experience. The scallops I had were cooked to perfection, however I would not recommend the fried oysters as they were a bit overboard on the crunch. I do hope they move the rosemary sitting above where they pour whisky as it seems to fall into the glass occasionally.

Food was good, but BEWARE parking in the privately owned lot behind the restaurant that's managed by Diamond Parking. It offers 2 hours "free", however know this,....First, a very aggressive attendant oversees the lot, so BE SURE TO GIVE WAIT STAFF YOUR TAG NUMBER AS SOON AS YOU ENTER WOODBLOCK. I'm not kidding,...give them your tag number ASAP or you'll be sorry.Second, there are lots of ways to get hit with a $50 ticket in this "free" lot. The attendant cited me a $50 ticket for parking on or over the painted lines. Crazy amount of signs all over the lot is a signal all is not right. The lot is mostly empty for a reason. It's a parking trap! Park on the street or in the public lot on Bear Creek Parkway. Seriously,... don't park behind the restaurant. Park elsewhere or you'll be sorry.

We called to reserve and left a voice mail(since no one answered). After getting there, we waited for 45 minutes despite being told it’s only 15minutes wait. Even that’s fine but later the server doesn’t show up for good 10mins.. when asked why were we left unattended for a while - server comments “ do you want to stay or leave?” This is all after spending one hour without food. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Good drinks, good food, nice happy hour. One star off for service that could have been better.

Salads were just ok. Banana bread dessert was good. Trout was actually really good. If everything was at that quality, would be 4.5 stars probably. Outdoors seating is a nice option for our short summer. Service was good (recommendations, prompt, humorous)

Made a reservation for brunch on a Saturday and ended up waiting 10 min for a table. Wouldn't have been so bad had there been seating for those waiting. Even Denny's has that🤷‍♀️. Selection of dishes was very minimal and quite pricey. Food was delicious though. They can validate your parking for up to 2 hrs in the garage right next to the restaurant.

This place is awesome! A bit pricey, but a great spot for dinner or a laissez-faire lunch- wouldn't advise if you're in a hurry.

We love this restaurant! Great drinks. Great ambiance. Great food - though I will admit we love just ordering tons of appetizers and have hardly had anything from the entree part of the menu. Brunch is also fantastic!

The lamb Shank was delectable and they have a whiskey drink that is covered by glass while there is wood smoking... My fiancee said it was really good!

Would certainly recommend visiting this place. Great mood, flavorful dishes, good customer service. They never disappoint.
